Are you keeping the Ten Commandments? Most of us think we are. But are we really?

The Ten Commandments are not old and outdated. They are still very relevant for today. The Creator who gave them to us knows us well, inside and out. He knows what will help us live the best possible life on this earth. How different would our society be if we all followed the big TEN?

Using a gentle, non-judgmental, encouraging approach, this private journal takes the commandments piece by piece and applies them to our personal lives, helping us examine our thoughts and actions and words and attitudes to see how we line up. We are encouraged to write the dates for our entries and come back later to record how we are growing in the Lord. For some of the items, there are extra pages for keeping track.

So, dig deep, be honest with yourself, and see if you can actually follow the original TEN COMMANDMENTS.

The commandments in this Journal are listed under the umbrella of what Jesus said are the Two Greatest Commandments. So our self examination begins with the first part of the Greatest Commandment in this verse:

And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

There is none other commandment greater than these.

We may think we are obeying these two greatest commandments and also the big TEN, but are we really? Answer the questions in this journal to find out. No condemnation or legalism here. Only soul searching to draw closer to the One who loves us beyond measure and knows what will bring us the greatest blessings in this life and the next and what is blocking those blessings.
