KING OF THE JEWS, part of the Feed My Sheep series by UK artist, Pauline Shone.

This fully illustrated Bible story begins when Jesus' close friend Lazarus dies. Lazarus' sisters, Martha and Mary, are very sad until Jesus does an amazing miracle and brings their brother back to them. A few days later, Mary shows her appreciation in a very special way.

Not long after that, Jesus enters the city of Jerusalem on the colt of a donkey and receives a royal welcome by the crowd. When Passover day is near, Jesus eats a special meal with His disciples and tells them about the awful things He is about to suffer and why. Will the sad disciples understand and stick with Him?

The story is told with illustrations. Quite a bit of the text comes straight from Scripture.

It's a magnificent and heartfelt illustration of Jesus from a deeply Jewish perspective, beautifully weaving together the significance of Passover and the powerful events surrounding the Triumphal Entry. Your approach brings the story to life in such an engaging and meaningful way, especially for young readers exploring these themes.

I particularly appreciated your clear and insightful explanation of Passover on page 24—it really helped illuminate the connections between the Passover and Yeshua. That section alone made the book so enriching and educational.

The illustrations are absolutely stunning! You are a wonderful artist, and the artwork adds so much warmth, color, and emotion to the narrative. The visual storytelling complements the text perfectly and makes the book even more captivating for children.

I believe these kinds of Messianic children's books are incredibly helpful and necessary. From the little I know of the available resources, there are still very few high-quality children's books that present these Biblical truths from a Messianic Jewish viewpoint. Your work fills an important gap and will no doubt bless many families, helping kids (and adults!) see Jesus more clearly as the promised Messiah rooted in Jewish tradition and Scripture.
